PS Jewelry Works
PS Jewelry Works is my design studio. I have been working in wearable art since the early 1970's, when I first started designing beaded jewelry and macrame. I attended the University of Delaware as well as Penn State University. I have studied with a variety of artists and crafts people in both the U.S. and Canada. I have lived in Newark, Wilmington & Bethany Beach; State College, Pittsburgh & Philadelphia, PA and Oakville & Toronto Canada. Each place and the crafts people there, have helped shape my work.
I opened my first store in Newark, DE in 1976. My creations have been featured in a variety of galleries and art shows, including the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, the Gallery at Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright's house in western Pennsylvania; the Ward Ellinger Gallery in Rehoboth Beach DE, Adornamenti-A Collection of Jewelry in Philadelphia; Sedona-Handmade & Imported Jewelry in Hoboken,NJ as well as a variety of galleries in and around Toronto, Canada.
My design inspiration has come primarily from nature or from items that are near and dear to me or to friends and family. I live in Philadelphia during the cooler months and in Bethany Beach, DE during the summer.
