I have always been fascinated with the color and textures in stone as a young child living in NM. The work of Allan Houser and Charles Almond made me want to reach out and touch their pieces and take them home. Upon retirement I started to follow my dream by taking sculpture classes in Naples, FL with Doug Corsini. I have continued with classes at the University of Delaware in design as well as workshops at the Rehoboth Art League at the Center for the Creative Arts. I have always felt that art embodies the best in humanity, even in dark and difficult times. Most importantly, I hope that others will find beauty and inspiration in their own lives from my sculptures.
