Artist Statement

The images and landscapes I create are derived from my Irish heritage.

The act of creating allows me to return to cherished places and recreate the feelings I have experienced in my journey through life. My explorations reflect the constant movement of life and the search for a connection among earth, spirituality and my own existence.

The process of working with clay enables my hands to touch my past and present experiences. A piece is truly successful when the viewer is transported to their own memories of life.
