Even as a child, I knew I wanted to create and be an artist. As I grew older, I knew it wouldn't pay the bills, so it lingered in my spirit.  For a while freelance writing filled the spot, but not entirely.  Art classes followed; drawing, pastels, watercolor--it all came together as I had hoped.

I took my botanical knowledge and expanded it. The way the water and paint come together is magical, my paintings have a spirit of their own.  I love the way my hummingbirds take off on the page.... my art reflects who I am.
