Artist Statement

In my work, I look for interesting sheets of glass and strive to highlight their beauty with the design. Designs taken from nature predominate in my work; sometimes natural stones or shell fragments are included as well as glass. The colors of the glass appear different as the light changes in the room, creating an endlessly fascinating work of art. I remain excited by the possibilities, even after more than 20 years of working in stained glass!

My work has appeared in several galleries in the area, as well as local craft shows. I would be happy to work with you to design a custom piece for a special gift or spot in your home.
