Sculptural Abstract Landscapes
David's "In Memory 911" sculpture garden is open to the public. Studio drop-ins welcome and by calling for an appointment.
David has combined his abstract landscapes style using richly vibrant colors over layers of various textures with his geometric sculptural theme to produce "sculptural abstract landscapes." His early sculptural abstract landscapes were heavy cedar frame and stretched canvas pieces. Currently his abstracts use aluminum as the structure and the canvas, thereby creating a lightweight and sometimes weatherproof wall sculpture of mixed media
Building on his formal art education; graphic design, architectural and photography work experiences, has enabled him to shape his visions into works of art. He continues to explore new methods and materials to create his artwork.
His recent projects have explored large format canvas prints mounted on aluminum, mixed media aluminum wall sculptures, outdoor sculptures, homegrown cherry and bamboo hand crafted designs and color enhanced abstract images, using his own art as a source for the images.
