The name art-ture comes from a blending of artand architecture. Arden, who is a practicing architect, creates wearable art bringing structure, color and texture together in a composition that is both functional and pleasing. Arden works with polymer which is custom blended with a variety of materials. Gemstones and seed bead work compliment each piece. Nuts, bolts, and gears are the inspiration for much of her work. Arden is know for her dragonfly series, Capture Heart Series, The Fob, a pendant inspired by the pocket watch and her Connections Series which includes, necklaces, earring and bracelets. Each of her handmade pieces is double sided and one of a kind.
You can find Arden and her work at regional Fine Arts and Crafts shows including, Rehoboth Art League, Easton Museum, Anne Marie Gardens, Hagley Museum, Lewis Historical Society and St. Peters Arts and Crafts Shows in Lewes, Delaware. Arden is also a juried artist and exhibits at The Buyers Market of American Craft held annually in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Arden’s work is also on display and for sale at galleries throughout the United States in galleries as far west as Sister Bay, Wisconsin, to the north in Kennebunkport, Maine and as far south as Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
