Artist Statement

My handbags are recognized for their eye-catching unusual themes.
Because my bags are created individually, no two bags will ever be alike. I use customized embroidery designs, always include interesting inside linings, and numerous pockets for organizational ease. I begin with my choice of a fine fabric and then my creative process begins. Recently, I have incorporated hand painted backgrounds on the flap or front of the handbag to further distinguish each as a unique wearable art form. Great attention is given to each creation assuring functionality and overall impeccable construction.

I am a juried member of the Chester County Guild of Craftsmen which is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Crafters.
