Born in Middletown, PA and now residing in Millsboro, DE, Gwenn has been a glass artist for over 30 years. Like many, what began as a hobby developed into a passion and a full time endeavor. Initially, she balanced her full time job as owner of a successful landscaping business with her love of stained glass. Eventually, Gwenn was forced to sell her business in order to have more time for her work and education in stained glass. As her reputation grew, she continued to improve her knowledge and skills by studying with renowned glass artists such as Lisa Vogt and Gina Hubler Miami Mosaic Academy. She also attended classes at Warner Glass in Allentown, PA, Corning Glass of New York, Delphi Glass in Lansing, MI and the Glass and Bead Expo in Las Vegas.

In 2005, Gwenn (with her new partner) opened her own gallery in Harrisburg, PA, where her art truly began to flourish. In addition to their own studio, her work was being displayed and sold in many of the local galleries. In 2009, Gwenn was honored as featured artist at the 2nd Floor Gallery in Mechanicsburg, PA, one of the largest and most prestigious galleries in Central Pennsylvania. In 2009, the difficult decision was made to close her gallery in Harrisburg in order to fulfill a life long dream to retire to the Delaware shore, to continue her art and live where her heart has always been at the beach.
