Artist Statement

I love color and nature. Both are beautiful to view and to paint. For me, if I bring a bit of pleasure with a painting, or a memory that may bring a jolt of refreshment to the viewer, that is worth the work.

About the Artist

Virginia is a self-taught artist and resides in Newark, Delaware. She was born and raised in the state of Delaware. In 2008 she won 2nd place at the Wilson Center Art Show located in Harford County, Maryland. This started her off to the next path to her art career. She began painting during the early 1990s. Virginia entered art and decoy shows at the beginning of her career. Virginia's known for her landscape, waterfowl art and still life paintings. Her style is traditional and contemporary work. She credits the Lord for the talent He so kindly gave her.
