Artist Statement

A native of DE, Christy began drawing and painting in oils as a child & took lessons at the DE Art Museum & Philadelphia College of the Arts. In 2005, she began studying watercolor with the highly regarded Sarah Yeoman. Christy became hooked on this challenging medium, attacked by its transculent qualities. She has honed her skills with many hours of printing and is a signature member of the DE Watercolor Society. She maintains studies in Lewes, DE and Bluffton, SC.
