My studio is my garage and sunporch. To get to my house, take Bay Vista Road to Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club. Turn right on Leeds Road until it Ts into Buckingham Drive. 157 is the first house on the left.

Artist Statement

Ever since I was five and my great-aunt threw out her old spices which I gleefully mixed into mud pies, I have enjoyed playing with the earth. Planting seeds in early spring is blissful. After my first year of motherhood, taking a pottery course at University of Delaware, I dreamed about what I would hand build next. While teaching elementary school, I did not make pots but I loved teaching science. When I retired, I asked a fellow teacher and friend, Amie Sloan, to teach me how to turn a pot on a wheel. She did and again, I am addicted to pottery. I learn and experiment. The process is fascinating! The possibilities are endless!
