Artist Statement

I have been creating most of my life. More recently I have focused on watercolor painting to express some of my inspirations. I enjoy this medium as well as many others. My drawing techniques lend themselves to my watercolor paintings. Throughout the years my styles and mediums have changed.

My ideas from everyday life build on top of each other and multiply, they are all interconnected. The play of light and shadow are what links me to the original idea. As the ideas develop, I also get a picture of how I am going to express it, what medium, what techniques, and what styles.

I am always creating. My goal is the creating and I hope you will enjoy the finished pieces. Thank you.
