Artist Statement

"What Sherrylee Biele does is as much an act of resurrection as it is an art."

Sherry reclaims vintage furniture with her unique and whimsical style of decorative art, combining hand painting, found objects and designer fabrics. The vintage furniture that Biele rescues can be found in private and public collections throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Relocating from Northern New Jersey to the Delaware shore with her husband Pat and their three dogs, Biele now makes her home near the resort town of Rehoboth Beach.
